Sugar... Well, I know sugar is no good for you, but the one thing I'm not sure about is... How much sugar, is to much sugar to much sugar? Or rather how much sugar do you guys usually consume in a day. I think I eat pretty healthy, but I think I still consume a fair amount of sugar? But then again how much is a fair amount... I tried looking around online, but no one really seems to have stated whats should be a limit... Thanks. |

Here in the UK The Government recommend no more than 90g (about 3.75 oz) a day and assuming that you are into muscle gain, you can divide that figure by at least 2 or 3 (dependent on your opinion) __________________ The stronger they are, the more muscled they are |

Sugar Sugar can be found in a lot more things than sugar bowls. Stay away from bleached breads (check the sides of "wheat" bread to make sure it isn't bleached/enriched) white potatoes, and white rice. A doctor once told me that a lot of things will contain sugar and that it was alright so long as it was as natural as possible. __________________ The Brain is a very powerful muscle - It can defeat you or it can be your best friend - the choice is YOURS! |

First , there are all types of suagrs but I think the one people are referring to is the common sucrose .... if you're adding sugar to food make sure its Demerara brown cane sugar. or raw honey.. Cant get more natural than that...Dont use all the artifical crap and artifical sweetners out there that are a total detriment to health IMO. If you consume alot of suagr in beverages such as tea and coffee, over time you can gradually reduce it. Your body soon gets used to it. On a personal basis, I consume almost no sugar excepting the ones from fruit juice in my post workout drink. |
