Captain Britain Can someone tell me where these are from, ie. which comic and which issue? http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...ion01/b9b7.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...ion01/1d24.jpg I'm pretty sure the guy is Captain Britain, though I could be wrong. Could anybody help me out here? __________________ In the MGS FC's, I am Bedlam. It's definitely Captain Britain, and the other characters in the second pic - Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, Lockheed (the little dragon) - identify it as as coming from the comic "Excalibur". The style of the art suggests it's from fairly early in the book's run (late 1980s to mid 1990s), unfortunately my old comics are on the other side of the continent, or I might be able to narrow that down to a specific issue. While CB was larger than the average character in Marvel comics, he's unusually huge in these shots - normally in Excalibur he was drawn a little over six feet, maybe 6'6" tops, and while very muscular wasn't that gigantic. I don't specifically remember a growth story in there, but it's been a long time. EDIT - beat to it, and by someone with either a hell of a memory or access to his comic collection! Was Davis just drawing him strangely at that point, or had he grown for some reason? Last edited by ny-boy; August 1st, 2007 at 04:17 AM. Reason: outdated |

One character I liked from the series was Micromax who had the mutant ability to change size (growth and shrinking). It was revealed that he was used his mass shifting powers to make it look like he was a 6'1", 175lbs. stud when in fact he was only 5'7", 140lbs. |

I remember some scenes of the comic in a yahoo group called comicbookmuscle. In the photo section there is a excalibur file with pics. __________________ The Internet is for PORN! -Trekkie- http://chocomus.deviantart.com/ http://yaoi.y-gallery.net/user/chocomus/ |

lol So watching Monty Python and BBC isn't enough then????? You know, it's funny how you have a Captain America and a Captain Britain, but I have yet to see a Captain Canada or Captain France... |

Capitaine France Lol! Captain France! In France, we know superheroes especially with animated series like Spiderman, Batman, Superman... and of course DC comics and marvel movies. So the USA feed us with superheroes, and France needn't create its own one ; also it doesn't really look like the authentic French culture. But, in fact, we have a kind of superheroe : our president Sarkozy (hungrian name). Maybe you'll see an Austrian name for the USA, soon... A.M. |

The publisher's never been on a very sound footing, looks like last year's restart didn't take. I don't know whether to admire Comely for his persistence, or wonder if the problem is that he may just not be good at running a business. And for the ultimate in lame superheroes... |
