Posing music

Hey guys.
Thought I'd toss this out there for some suggestions/recommendations.
I have three contests coming up shortly and I am working with a choregrapher and my trainer on improving my posing routine. I will be competing in the superheavyweight class and need powerful or impactful music. Both my trainer and my choreographer disagree on music selection... so I'm looking for any new ideas? The track will be edited down to just 70 seconds max... and has to have a great opening and closing.

P.S. Scott thanks for your suggestions so far... they've been helpful.

Mdlftr will become famous soon enough
posing music suggestion-- Go classical?

Don't know if you've thought of going classical:

"Funeral March of Siegfried" Wagner

[Used by Mike Mentzer, Pro Mr. Universe winner to great effect. He was THICK and powerful. I thought of it since you said you're posing in the superheavyweight category. This piece, and Wagner in general, has impact and gravitas. ]

Posing Music

Knock 'em dead at the contest. As for music, I put some audio clips you should be able to play with "Windows Media Player". The clips are on the web. I sent you a private message.

If you're interested in something that's high-energy, powerful, eclectic and modern, there is a quasi-new wave of recordings of ancient chant set to very powerful techno loops, and very artistically done. Try "O Virgo ac Diadema." I can send you the file anytime. Best wishes with your search!

Thanks!

Guys.
Sincere appreciation for all of your suggestions and files.
When competing as a superheavyweight you definitely want something that is going to shock the audience out of their seats.
Keep those recommendations coming.

As I mentioned with three shows planned for this year... and
my trainer strongly suggesting that I do a fourth... if my conditioning can hold... having great posing music and a knock 'em dead posing routine will most certainly go a long way.

I will keep you guys posted on my progress and standings.

Hey there,

I have a few as far a dance tracks goes. You may want to look up the DJ Encore and Engelina album "Intuition." (all great songs really including "I See Right Through To You"). Also, anything ATB except for "9PM ('til I Come)" and a few others that have been overplayed. His last two albums "Dedicated" and "Addicted to Music" have some great tracks for posing on them as well. Anyway, just a few suggestions.

Hope these help,
Plug.
