Introducing . . . me Hey, everyone! I am a long-time silent observer who has decided to bite the proverbial bullet and post a couple of progress shots of myself. I have found this forum to have the "nicest" members in terms of commenting on other people's progress. I am seeking constructive criticism about my progress. My fitness goal is to take my body as far as it can go naturally without sacrificing my profession and lifestyle. So, without further ado, here is me: Upper torso shot (if you squint hard enough and bang your head a few times, you will see the beginnings of abs): http://www.flickr.com/photos/11327928@N04/1093894224/ One arm shot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11327928@N04/1093043145/ If I receive supportive/positive repsonses, I might post more. Again, constructive criticism will be most appreciated. Thanks! -Felix |

Thanks for the comments! This coming January will be my four year anniversary. I'm 6'6" (~2m), 30 yo, 220 lbs. When I started four years ago, I weighed ~185 lbs! Later, Felix |

Well done Congratulations on your transformation, Felix! Tall guys usually have a hard time developing their chests but you are doing well. Your bicep shot is very impressive! Keep eating, lifting, and sleeping---let the growth continue!! |

Dude, Congratulations, your process is awesome. Thanks for sharing the pics and videos. Keep growing. Your body rocks! |

You look great, and no, I didn't have to squint to see your abs. What're your target weight/stats for your 4th anniversary? |

Thanks, guys, for the sweet comments! I have always been envious of people of shorter stature for (1) muscle normally looks better/bigger on them and (2) it's easier for them to find clothes. In terms of my goals, I don't know. As I said in my first post, I would like to see how far I can take my body naturally. I weigh ~220 lbs now; I am curious to see what 250 lbs would look like on me. Am I totally off my rocker thinking that? So, what else do you want to see of me? Have a great day! For me, it's legs. Later, Felix |

Quads So, today was legs (quads). Here what they look like. I can never get definition in my legs. What do you think? Any advice? Leg Exercises Mr. O - In terms of my quads, I alternate between these two workouts each week: Quads Week I Quads Week II I work the hamstrings with lower back and calves with chest. Please keep the comments/questions/encouragment, gentlemen! |

Felix, Those are some good shots. I especially liked the arm shot...you're going to have great vascularity. I think you'd look great at 250! I, for one, can't wait to see your further transformation. __________________ Donnie My Blog: Donnie's Diversions My MSN Space with pics & workout blog Jacksonville, Onslow County, NC, USA I'm reminded of the immortal last words of Socrates who said, "I Drank What?!" |

Mr. D - Thanks for the reply! As someone who used to have an eating disorder, everyone's positive comments are heart-warming and motivating. I guess my legs are not too popular; I will try a different body part later this week. I know that this may belong to another thread/section, but I would like to ask people who work out regularly: How many protein shakes do you consume? I consume one the first thing in the morning and a second one right after my work out. What do you think? Should I add another one? If so, when? And, another question: What are good ways to put on healthy weight without "bulking"? Psychologically I an not sure I can handle a true "bulk." Thanks, again, to everyone! -Felix |

Shoulders Today was shoulders, and here are my shots. The battery to my digital camera has died, so I used my Mac camera. Not quite sure what is the "normal" pose for shoulders, but I did my best. As always, constructive feedback (or just postiive feedback) will be most appreciated! Thanks! -Felix One shoulder: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11327928@N04/1152349697/ And the other: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11327928@N04/1153197110/ |
