| Greeks I was doing some reasearch on the ancient greeks and I was searching google under the Groups search option. And most of the articles that came up where sex life for ancient Greeks. So I started to read one. About half of the whole article was about how men were homosexuals and how they valued the penis so highly. It was pretty interesting... | Don't get me started on those wacky ancient greeks;) Did you know that Cupid originally represented the love between a man and a boy (because he couldn't encroach on the realm of his mother, Aphrodite, which was the love between a man and a woman)? That changed with time, obviously. However, yea, they had this whole worship for men thing. Very interesting stuff. The romans did a bit of it, but in slightly different ways. Point is, homosexuality was sort of THE thing way back when (as it has been from time to time throughout history). __________________ just my thoughts as a writer Things happen. |
