Hey you got that download site working? I had some trouble with it. Seems to not like flagged videos that require age confirmation.

Another good video-save site is zamzar.com, it will email you a direct download link and can even convert to various other formats in the process. I found it also worked with age-check videos too.

But no worries, I have the original source and can pass it on if the video does get pulled. Only thing is I can't directly host it (otherwise I would do that instead of youtube), so I'd have to mail it to somebody who can. It's only 3.8mb, not too big (unlike its contents).

Wow they sure took that one down fast! Usually it takes weeks for flagged videos to disappear.

But then, I suppose the popularity might have had something to do with it. My previously top-favorited video took over 3 1/2 months to pass 300 favorites. This got over 150 favorites in 14 hours. The other one also had 52 ratings in 3 1/2 months - this got 36 ratings in 14 hours. It was top rated/favorite in sports. I've never seen that level of reaction to a video that wasn't posted by some top popular account.

Anyhow, hey good conversion with AVI there blas! I tried an AVI conversion myself, but there was too much artifacting. Oddly enough, the original source video is an FLV. For all the downloading I've done from rapidshare, I can't believe I didn't think to use it to host the video. The original FLV is only 3.8MB, about half of the AVI conversion, so I'll try to provide a link to that file for maximum space/compression efficiency. Of course, you need an FLV player, but you can nab a great one here (freeware).

Also beware of VLC player, that thing raped my associations and has no way to modify them after installing, so I've been manually resetting all day as the need arose.

I use keepvid to download the FLV file (I have also a FLV player, but who wants to see FLV file? hehe) , and use FLV to AVI converter from ZZZ technologies . you can download it I guess from anywhere...

and regarding VLC - don`t worry, I look carefully to associations during installations... I use it to almost any format.. way cooler than damned WMP...
