Hmm... A few concepts"
  • The asylum is a place where they send "victims" of a weird disease that causes hyper-masculine traits. Those victims who are less affected or are more able to hold on to their humanity take positions as guards and orderlies. The doctors, to be able to handle their patients, take a special drug that simulates the disease's effects while letting them maintain their minds. The out of control victims are placated with weights and sexual stimulation.
  • Instead of hosting the sick, the asylum is a secret medical facility where experiments are run to make men larger.

Holy crap, those guys were huge! And this may be just my lack of experience, but it seemed an awefully creepy ad for something of GNC's.

I have to agree on both counts. The guys were of a terrific size (albeit, likely unnatural) but the ad overall sends a poor message about bodybuilding. BBs are already separated from society by their physical appearance and their grueling routines. This turns them into real monsters and that isn't a good thing...although I was turned on by the commercial so what does that say?

I'd like to know what the actual product was myself! As to suggestions, howabout taking the idea (an asylum full of bodybuilders) and turning it on its head (i.e why would anyone populate an asylum full of bodybuilders). Could it be something as simple as they are all suffering (define on point of view) from that mutation that makes it impossible for them to regulate muscle?
