Fast or Slow Growth Just Wondering if You Guys Like Fast or Slow growth in Stories (Slow as In Over a Couple of Weeks and Fast as In Like 5 Minutes Or A Day I Guess) |
| |||
JP & Nick were my favorite stories ever, probably for their semi-realistic gradual progression over YEARS, so that makes it slow I guess :P |

Fast only if it's realistic (well, growing any muscle like in our stories is unrealistic, but you get my point). If a guy grows 2k lbs of muscle in a matter of moments, that's not a good story UNLESS it's a continual thing and is written well to suit it (the story "Grow Gravity" is an excellent example). Slow, that works for most any story, I really don't need to say anything since the growth is always sped up at least somewhat from what real life might do for you. __________________ In the MGS FC's I am Psycho Mantis! I prefer fast growth that occurs periodically. I think too much too fast takes some of the fun out of the description. |

I guess it depends on the story. A short story demands fast mg, but in long ones I prefer fast in short periods. Also, small growth but noticeable. and sometimes unnoticeable at first and after some chapters go like: "woa, dude, you look huge" "Really? Gee I haven't realized till now..." or something. __________________ The Internet is for PORN! -Trekkie- http://chocomus.deviantart.com/ http://yaoi.y-gallery.net/user/chocomus/ |

I like slow at first and then fast. Maybe its not noticed at first, but then it starts getting obvious as more and more muscle piles on. |

Honestly it does not bother me as long as the description of the growth and the reactions to it (of the transformed and the people/things about them) is very vivid and exciting- if that is over 5 years or 5 mins I think its great either way. Thing that annoys me most is where there is no follow up to a good story- no what happened next- that's a shame in many many cases. |
