What would you guys say? If I said I knew someone that took a brand new shock absorber and compressed it completely together... like squeezing it so it was completely compacted? |
| |||
I know I'd say... HOLY SH*T! You must be f'ing strong! Can I feel your arm? |
| |||
Its not me... its a friend of mine. And yeah I nearly passed out when I saw him do it. |
| |||
Yeah that's an amazing feat of strength. This the first time he's done something like this and how big is your bud? -- Shawn |

Feats of strength Don't know if this should go somewhere else, but... I've been working out consistently (3x wk) at my gym for about 14months. During Feb and March, I didn't go because I was recuperating from an injury and was also on travel. I just started back in this week, after being out since the first week of February. Anyway, a guy at the gym that I've gotten to talk to, seems to have gotten noticibly bigger in that time. When I last saw him in Jan., he was about 5'9", maybe 180# +/- 5 lbs. or so. Thicker than average, with a bit of a pec bulge. This week, he's much bigger -- pecs are much thicker, arms are definitely bigger. Looks like he's gained 10 pounds! Most impressive, I saw him doing sets of sloow barbell curls with 135#! Never saw him do that before! Afterwards, he was pretty pumped! Slow and steady progress...... Mdlftr |

How much strength would it take to do something like that? |
| |||
I'm not sure...I'd assume that it'd at LEAST several hundred lbs of pressure per sq. inch. |
| |||
No wonder it hurts when he gives me a bearhug. |
| |||
Yeah...that makes sense. How 'bout you dude...you ever do any feats of strength? |
| |||
Impressive but hardly spectactular Now rolling a frying pan up, now that's a different matter altogether |
| |||
Im sure he could probably do that... Maybe I'll ask him to do that next. |
| |||
Would definitely be cool to find out. -- Shawn |

The super thin/flimsy frying pans that they sell at Dollar Tree don't count. __________________ God is in the rain. |

If you know someone that can roll a frying pan up, let me know so I can come and watch |
| |||
How about a link then? Guiness World Records Primetime August 4th 2000 Tallest human chair stack; two men attempt to roll a frying pan like a newspaper. 9:00pm Friday It might be listed in the Guiness World Records Book as well |
| |||
Thanks, I'll have a look, what are your frying pan rolling skills like? |
| |||
I think regardless, all of these are amazing feats to behold or about which to read. Congrat's to anyone who CAN perform them! __________________ just my thoughts as a writer Things happen. |
