Lookin good! Hey Eager muscle, you look great! Just keep pumping that iron, I'm sure you are in store for some more growth that will eventually be hard to hide, even under a jacket! Keep those muscles pumped! __________________ -ottomun6- It's time to stop sitting on the sidelines and get in there! |

Eager, you have made great progress & I hope you will continue this progress. I just have one question, mostly caused by the fact that I have never been to NYC. Why is it that you are not motivated by the peeps in your own neighborhood? Are their no hot guys (meaning guys that you draw motivation from by looking at them, this will be unique to you) at your gym? If not, is there a suburban gym that would be close to some mass transit that you can access? I realize that NYC has a massive population & stretches through 3 states, but you must have good rail out of the city (or else how would the suburbanites get to work each day?) and one of those stations must have a gym nearby. I'm sure that you could talk frankly to the staff at your local gym about wanting to move to the 'burbs, but wanting to be close to mass-transit. Good luck, and congratulations! __________________ God is in the rain. |

Amazing progress! It was great to see your before/after pics, I am a little jealous, of your obvious willpower that has transformed your body. I can't imagine how amazing you'll look in a year! For those of us on the left coast, what is the UES? Also, I didn't mean you'd have to commute for every workout, just that you have options. BTW, I have a good friend that only likes young guys, and we find lots of boys for him to scope out in P-Towns 'burbs. The funny thing is that he won't go to any of them unless I drive him there. Also most of those gyms are within a block of the same rail line passes his apartment building. Take Care, Brent. __________________ God is in the rain. |

Squats Eagermuscle, the basics for a the squat are difficult to put into words, but I'll give it a go: With bar on shoulders, inhale & drop down to about where your quads are parallel to the floor. Keep you back locked straight -no slouching (pick a spot up on the wall to focus on and this will help you straight) Exhale as you come up and keep it straight coming up) some guys pretend that they are sliding against an imaginary glass wall. Then repeat for about 10 reps. Alway start with a light weight. And don't hesitate to ask for a spot from someone who does them. Usually, they will note any problems if you tell them you're a rookie. Form is VERY IMPORTANT, slouching can damage the vertebrae in your back. Read a couple muscle mags too, usually it comes down to the same thing, but somtimes there might be a pointer that you never thought about before. __________________ -ottomun6- It's time to stop sitting on the sidelines and get in there!
