Hercules in the haunted world Does somebody have this movie? I'm looking for it I love the way reg park does the hercules part in some scenes, I remember there is a scene when he has to cross a bridge and a skinny guy is bugging him, standing on his way, he picks up the guy single handedly, lifts him up and throws him in a pool while laughing... If someone has the movie I'd love to have a clip of that part. I think it is that movie, he made many... mutador |

This is available on VHS as well as DVD - there are several versions on VHS, and I know of two on DVD - one, from Sinister Cinema is dreadful - recorded on DVD-R; the other, a professional offering available at Amazon.com and other outlets does justice to the film, as it's letterboxed, color-corrected, and very nice. Reg Park is my favorite of all the "Hercules" actors - he was also the only one with a hairy chest - all the others shaved theirs... Park did 5 films between '61 and '65: 1961 - "Hercules and the Captive Women" 1961 - "Hercules in the Haunted World" a.k.a. "Hercules at the Center of the Earth" 1964 - "Hercules, Prisoner of Evil" a.k.a. "Ursus, the Terror of the Kirghiz" 1965 - "Hercules, the Avenger" a.k.a. "Challenge of the Giant" 1965 - "Maciste in King Solomon's Mines" a.k.a. "Samson in King Solomon's Mines" All of them are available on video in some for or another, but in most cases only VHS... If you're interested in sources for these on video, I'd recommend Brian's Drive In Theatre here: http://www.briansdriveintheater.com/regpark.html Enjoy! |
