Morph Requests (Before)

I like it when things are organised. I'm a little funny in that way.
As you may have seen the Morphers of this forum are an amazingly talent bunch, and we the fans greatly appreciate their work.

So I have created two threads, this being the first.
Please post any links/pictures of images you would like to request.
Morphers, feel free to take you're pick of willing victims and work your magic.

All 'after' images will posted on the second thread.

Those all look quite challenging to morph to me. There is so much complexity in the image especially the copies with the Getty images watermark on them. More power to anyone who can do those well.

Amen to that. The only decently easy morph I can think of, is a head transpose morph. That's where you take the head of someone, and put it on someone else's body. It can be done in still pictures, or morph vids.

I would love to nominate Sean Maher, the actor who plays Simon Tam on Firefly and Serenity. He is so handsome, and just a touch effeminate. Would love to see him all muscled up.

Also, Dominic Monaghan, the Scottish guy from Lord of the Rings and Lost. Elijah Wood as well. Jonathan and Andrew (the nerds) from Buffy. Tom Lenk is dreamy.

John, your requests are not only numerous but very specific. You're likely to have the best luck getting what you're looking for by doing them yourself.

Well, what type of morph are you wanting to do?

If it's a head transpose, then you simply need to take the head of the person to morph, then cut out the head, and paste it over the old head, also making sure you can't see any of the original head.*

A body transpose is almost exactly the same as above, only you take the more muscular body, and paste it on the original picture.*

A still picture growth morph. That's a type of morph where you "grow" the picture, as is. This is sometimes combined with one of the above two types of morphs.*

*Now, there are more detailed steps to making these types of morphs look realistic, but these are the most basic things to do. Someone who's better than myself at these can tell you a lot more.

You don't have Photoshop, that's fine. Though I recommend you get it if possible, there is a free program that is very Photoshop-esque. It's called GIMP. You can find it here: http://www.gimp.org/

Now then, I don't know too much about still picture morphing as you can tell. So someone else will have to give some more info on that. If you want to make video morphs though...then that's my cup of tea.
