| Grand Rapids, MI workout partner? I'm a 25 year old college student in the northeast GR, MI area looking for a workout partner. I'm a big guy (6'2", 360 lbs, more muscle than fat on a big frame), with a disability (prosthetic right leg) that makes the regular starter weight-loss stuff like running and swimming hard. I've had it since before I could walk, so I never developed any kind of athletics growing up. I'm looking at lifting as an alternative. (Right now, I'm a powerhouse, but my endurance is crap.) Being over here for school, I don't know many people. Mostly I lack motivation at the moment, I've tried going on my own, but it's too easy to skip a day and wind up at a dead stop. If I'm going with someone, then it's an appointment I'm failing to meet, which keeps me on track.     |
