Hamstrings Hey guys, sorry for another question so soon, but here goes. I'm currently doing three different exercises to work my hamstrings. I'm doing deadlifts, leg curls, and lunges. I'm quickly discovering that I hate lunges...lol. So my question is, are there other hamstring exercises out there? There does not seem to be much choice or variety for this muscle group. |

Lunges are awesome, just great for all the leg muscles. How do you do them? There are variations of leg curls, like lying hamsting curls (with dumbbell), which are more challenging and fun, but here are some compound exercises you might want to try: Cable pull-throughs and glute-ham raises. These work the hams and also work the glutes and glute-ham tie-in plus ancillaries. Glute-ham: Cable pull-thru: |
