THE EVOLUTION GAMES - Muscle Lad to Muscle Dad - ROUND 1: Benfatto vs. Strydom

* I want to start some Before & After "competitions" featuring well-known bodybuilders.

* There will be several theme-based comparisons where different men face-off in rounds (Beauty vs the Beast, Freak vs Freak, Muscle Model Mayhem, etc.)

* The winner of each competition will be crowned "TRANSFORMATION TITAN" and get more Before & After pix spanning their career.

Here's how it works:

1) VOTING will be open for 30-DAYS.
2) The muscle man with the MOST TOTAL VOTES WINS.
3) The WINNER of the round GETS MORE BEFORE & AFTER PIX!
4) The LOSER of the round goes on to compete with the loser of the second round and so forth.

I'm not sure if I understand the voting mechanism here, but my vote definitely goes with Benfatto for "muscle dad." It's mostly the facial expression. Benfatto exudes the confidence of a great muscle dad, while Strydom with that theatrical grimace is just trying too hard.

You are voting for what physique/type you like best out of the 4 pix.

Here's an example:

You may prefer the young (lad) 1.0 version of Benfatto over a young Strydom, but you find that Strydom's older (dad) 2.0 version is the hottest out of all 4 (hotter to you than young Strydom and both versions of Benfatto.)

In this case you would vote for Strydom 2.0.

Wow. So far its split pretty evenly.

Yeah it's close so far, it will be interesting to see what happens.

I voted for the older Benfatto. There's something about his waist thickening up that really excites me. His wasp waist was incredible and arguably the crown jewel that set off his stunning proportions. Now, thanks to years and years of drugs (growth hormone and ???) he's got himself a lovely ol' "roid gut", not too big but enough to rub and enjoy (if you're into that).



He's also no longer got that "pretty boy" face, it's now rough and rugged.

I guess I love it when a guy who is in the more "effete" and "aesthetic" spectrum begins to transform and move into the "butch" and "beast" zone.

How hot is the before shot of a young Strydom? Mounds of roidy muscles bulging everywhere but he's so sweet and shy as he coyly peeks (and "peaks") out at us. Love the juxtaposition.

Looking back at old Muscle & Fitness magazines there were some very sexy and subliminally homo-erotic photos taken of Strydom together with a playboy bunny type and a hunky muscle model. I know, I know, what isn't subliminally homo-erotic about a bodybuilding magazine? But this was something unique. If I find the spread I'll share it.

I agree Benfatto lucks much better in the older version! It's good of him that he put in shape again and repeat the same poses as his previous pictures for all to compare, same with Strydom.
