| well... You've probably heard about the ectomorph, mesomorph, endomorph theory; that people inherit tendencies to certain body types and these three are the catch all catagories. But I would add that pneumatic muscles, beautiful rounded muscles, while inheritable by some can be imitated with steroids perfectly for many or some people by swelling muscles with fluids during a cycle (edema). But even this is very dependent on your genetic inheritance; while a little hormone can go a long way for a lucky few users, for many (most?) it can only go so far and for some people steroids don't make any difference in this area. The downsides of using steroids are that you don't look that way off cycle for very long and two there are a lot of important side effects that effect health and even effect changes to your body, you could possible lose more hair earlier by using testosterone and that won't come back after a cycle. And The really full look often requires stronger more dangerous steroids (Anadrol comes to mind from my days in the gym). So that's a long answer but the men we see who show off their muscles generally are working very hard on several different tracks to get their look plus they are genetically gifted to begin with. Since steroids are illegal I'm defintely not implying that anyone in particular is using them because of course I wouldn't know. But all this should give you some fat to chew over. A stupid old saw comes to mind which might or might not be true; "there are no simple answers but there are some simple people". |

| Squats for the Quadriceps Good factual video showing correct form AND correct spotting technique for free weight squats with the bar across the shoulders. Not an easy or comfortable exercise, but it does work your quads! I find that getting a spotter for this exercise is difficult, so I do other quad exercises instead, like single leg db lunges, bosu ball squats while holding a 45-pound plate, and bodyweight lunges across the gym and back.
