HEY!!!! Welcome to Denver!! You'll love it here! I grew up in Colorado and in the Denver area and I never want to move. It's true too - when I travel to other major cities in the US I'm always VERY surprised to see how many short and fat people there are EVERYWHERE. I'm just accoustomed to looking around downtown Denver and seeing tons of guys who obviously run, swim, or do something athletic with their lives on a fairly regular basis.

All over the place... born in Swift Current, elementary school in Lloydminster, part of junior high in Kindersley... then a few years in Edmonton, then high school in Regina... LOL. How indicitive of a small town type province is it that my sister in law is from Kindersley, best friends are from Swift, older bro lives in Lloyd...

If you like "Air Farce" try "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" on CBC. Purely Canadian satire, ruthless at times, more current and twice as insanely funny as "Air Farce" - at least I think so.

Oh, I think "22 Minutes" is very funny, too. But I think "Air Farce" is now more of a classic...heck, on occasion, I even think that Rick Mercer and his specials are funny too!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but John Morgan, of Air Farce died a day or two ago of heart failure.. He had retired from showbiz to focus on the remaining years... What a loss.

I just figured the fans in the States might want to know since he was "ONLY" a good Canadian actor.

100% Canadian here... Born in Vancouver, raised in Port Coquitlam, then lived a short stint in New Westminster and now Surrey. Currently work in Burnaby.

Just your average Lower Mainland kinda guy.

I'm currently living abroad but grew up in SW Ontario (Woodstock - the "dairy capital of Canada" - and we've got the cow statue to prove it!) Nice to see so many other Canucks on this site. I also lived in Denver for a couple of years in the late 90s, have to agree with ethernet jock about how nice it is...best big city in the US I think...miss that place.

Well I think the two places have a lot in common...roughly the same size, near the Rockies, and young, active populations. Vancouver gets bonus points for being near the ocean but Denver gets the edge on weather (can't beat those bright blue Colorado skies...) In any event they're both a lot nicer than Taipei!
