hello canucks....new to this site, from Montreal. A guy can never have too many gym buds - like to share training ideas in our quest to get bigger.

Hey GymGayMtl - welcome. I lived in Montreal for a few years a while back and my partner's from there, so we get back pretty regularly and Montreal has one of the best gyms in the country, imho: ProGym, out by PieX metro station. If you don't know it, I'd strongly recommend you go check it out -- even if only for the occasional inspirational workout.

The space is MASSIVE -- as big as Gold's Venice -- and so are most of the guys who train there.

It's not necessarily the fanciest gym -- no slate floors in the locker room -- but I always make a point of training there when I get to Montreal... It really gets me inspired. http://www.progymsergemoreau.com/

Hi J. Thnx for the hello and info. I have heard of ProGym and the reputatation it has for big muscle guys, but have never tried it out. I train at Gym Zone on Decarie/Jean Talon. It's the biggest gym I've seen in the city - and the free indoor parking is a nice bonus during the winter.
More of a 'hobby' gym, but even at peak hours not too busy. Perhaps we can get a workout in next time u visit.....we could provide the inspiration.
