My new favorite leg movement Found this little move surprisingly easily via Google. It's actually simple: a one-legged squat. Improves balance, coordination, joints, *and* works the entire leg like no other. You stick a leg out, go all the way down on the other, then back up. I did a single set of 12 for each side - alternating at first, then groups - with just body weight. Two days later I'm still aching. For those in better shape than I (not a major feat) just use some hand weights. Thoughts? |

Its a great finishing exercise after a set of heavy squats--nearly impossible but thats what works best. |

I'll have to check that out, sounds like it would be a PITA to do at first! |

Yeah, it takes some practice. I kept falling over when I first did these (just for fun, really, 'cos I knew I'd embarrass myself with them at the gym, falling over all the time). I forgot about them though, thanks for the reminder! |
