Too bad about Paul, but now we're about to embark on the adventure of Peter and Alan against the military. O boy! O boy! This should be great if your highly charged scenes at Paul's place are any indication. Keep up the great writing.

I also miss Paul. I'm hoping that even though Peter confirmed his death that it is premature---whatever it was that made Paul what he was will eventually restore him to superhuman power---unbeknownst to the army. I think there could be some awesome scenes with Paul and Peter confronting each other.

Early in the story with their names you suggested a duality between Petter and Paul as if there is some connection and Peter seemed to change Paul from a gentle giant to a raging maniac of muscle growth and agression.

There could be some future in the story for that dynamic if you care to tease it out. However having said all that exploring Peter's new powers and adventures could be satsifying as well. I just have this wish that the gentle giant and the raging maniac mystery of Paul will be more fully explored.
