IF bodybuilding is all about SIZE for some builders and many fans, then where do you go once you've hit your limits?

Kind of like women who are "plastic surgery addicts", like Joan Rivers is supposed to be.

If you don't like yourself, you're going to do anything you can to change and improve yourself. The big assumption being, of course, that all change is an improvement. And, maybe in the mind of a guy who doesn't have much going for him, getting as big as he can is the way he can "improve" himself.

Because this video was made over 15 years ago
I suspect that Manfred H?berl might have been the 1st BB to use Synthol injections
to increase the size of his arms.

He was the 1st BB I discovered on the internet who had freakishly huge biceps.

I don't know for a fact if Manfred injected synthol ...but his biceps have that bloated look.

not so sure about that.. Steroids yes but i don't think Manfred used Synthol.. if you pay attention his muscles actually relax and flex properly.. plus he did strongman stuff and if his size was from Synthol he probably wouldn't have had all the strength too.. At least that's my opinion

I disagree, I think his triceps have been altered with synthol, they sag and they're distorted.
However it's just my opinion , but I do know a little bit about muscular proportion and shape.
When someone does morphing ...you sort have a heighten sense of proportion and distortion.

I want to say no, but I'm with atomicmuscle on this...the muscles did flex but at the end of the video, he holds his arms out and shakes them...the tops of his biceps and bottom of the triceps look like they're jiggling a little too much. It's almost like there's some extra "padding" under the skin. Most men don't carry fat in those areas if they're as muscular as he is. And...you never really see that "lobster claw"/"horse shoe" shape of the triceps...they just look too smooth.

Just another opinion.
