"Dennis" - short movie

This is a short movie (around 18 minutes) about an introverted bodybuilder named Dennis.

What else is it about?

It's really short... tells the story about this bodybuilder who goes on a date with a woman, and it doesn't turn out the way he thought it would.
Basically a typical introverted story.

I just watched it. A pretty sad short movie but I liked it...maybe cuz I can identify with the protagonist, except that I'm not huge and hot lol Seriously, damn is that guy hot.

Ugh. Now that Rapidshare has reached critical mass and gotten established, they've progressed into full-on "keepaway" tactics where you can't even count on just having to wait for a timer to expire -- now, more than half of the time, I just get, "sorry, no, try your luck later, or pony up!" Screw them, the service is worthless and the transfer rates suck once you *do* win the magical download lottery.

People need to vote with their uploads, and stop using rapidshare completely -- sharing stuff thru their shitty site just helps them rake in more premium-account dollars. Just say no. (Better yet, just say torrent.)

...Anyway, rant over, sorry. After hours of perseverence I did manage to download both parts.


For musqlure, and anyone else who may be having difficulties with the split format: the two downloads are parts of a single rar archive, they're used together to extract just one file. You shoudn't have to manually deal with a "part 2" of the video itself, that's all taken care of by rar.

The file naming is a little unusual (I think it's their older scheme). If whatever tool you're using to extract is giving you trouble, you might try renaming the files in a more common fashion like so:

aen-dnns.part1.rar => aen-dnns.rar
aen-dnns.part2.rar => aen-dnns.r00

Then, open the .rar file (it will automatically pick up the second part), and just one .avi will extract; it should have the following characteristics:

Filename: aen-dnns.avi
Filesize: 171.9 MB (180285440 bytes)
Runtime: 17 minutes 21 seconds

The movie itself, it's... odd. Sorta sad, sorta touching. I enjoyed it. (Thanks, BTW, renbo!)

And as for Dennis' mother -- she's a miserable, passive-aggressive horror of a woman, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one rooting for Dennis to roll over in his sleep, at the end of the film!

Thanks for the proposed solution. I tried it, but it didn't work. What happens is that I try to open the first part with Windows Media, and it says it can't play the file type. I tried VLC Media Player, and I got a message that it needed to repair the avi. I clicked on "repair" and the first part played fine. It didn't pick up the second part automatically, and when I tried opening the second part with VLC, nothing seems to happen. So, I have the first 8 minutes or so, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to see the end of it.

Am I doing something wrong? I'm not computer savvy at all. Is there some kind of software I should download to deal with this problem?

Wow this is one great find! I had seen some clips and photos of Kim Kold but I've never seen him in that light. I'm amazed at how big he looks next to all the women in the film, he's just simply massive, has a deep rumbling voice, and also considering he's 44, he looks incredible.
The story is very interesting in terms of the pathologic mother-son relationship where the mom can't build a life of her own and is completely dependant on the son for company, he turns almost into her husband... I wouldn't blame her, I'd like to be that mom hehe
I also love the part when he takes his shirts for the girls, because he's like pretending to be shy but you can tell inside he's like "yeah fucking look at this hunk of a man you bitches!!"

just saw the end of part 2... whats going on here?
never quite understood how some of the biggest hottest studs are such loners and can't find romance
he still sleeps with his mum, not exactly a plus on the dating scene.

It's a well-done film. Clearly, Dennis has developed a twisted relationship with his controlling, manipulative mother. His father was an alcoholic, so I suppose this isn't so surprising.

Sad and touching.

For a split second it made me feel bad for j/o on muscle guys. They are only humans, too, with their own problems and maybe not everyone likes to be gazed at besides the stage.
