Cardio Frequence vs. Weight Training

General question---

The best time for me to go to the gym for cardio seems to be on my lunch hour (fortunately, Gold's has two locations, one just around the corner from my work). On a one hour lunch, I can do 30 min of cardio with moderate intensity, have time to change clothes, and get back to my office. I can do this as many times a week as I need to. Going to the gym at night is a bit tougher, as, due to my medical condition, by the end of the day, I'm pretty beat. My plan is to do weight training 3-4 times a week.

Here's my question: Is 30 min of cardio 5x a week, combined with weights 3-4x weekly acceptable for toning and adding muscle to my chest, arms, shoulders and back? Is this doable, or should I think of rearranging my schedule?

Have You considered going home and resting for a couple hours after work instead? I tend to miss the post work/dinner crowd that way as well!
