Toning and cardio?

Hey guys, my very first thread on this website. My question is one that you could easily answer - how much cardio and what type of toning routines should I do to utilize my time at the gym to its fullest extent?

Here are some of my statistics:
- 16 years of age.
- ~170 pounds.
- 11% body fat.
- ~5'9"

I'm wondering what type of toning routines (workouts, sets, the whole 9 nine yards) and the frequency/intensity of cardio I should accomplish to attain my goal of losing fat and gaining lean muscle.

I want to bulk up later but I decided that toning before bulking should work better. Any type of advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
