Is Nitric Oxide actually working for you?

Is Nitric Oxide actually working for you? lets just see who had what kind of results with this stuff. Since NO, Along with creatine are the two most popular sports supplements out there, I just have to see what sort of edge it can provide, if it does at all.

you do realize that most nitric oxide products are sodium carbonate or sodium biocarbonic based. this is oly reason you might feel anything from them and the fact they might use a sugar also as a loading agent would be the other reason. most do not have enough of the amino acids in them to do what they claim.

I stick to creatine, glutamine and amino acids... Tried NO2 supplement and doesn't seem to had any positive effect before and after taken them.

I never had the NO supplements but a buddy having it who used to have it, increased the blood flow everywhere, and as a result, improved his skin tone and facial complexion.

They all include lots of caffeine and niacin, to make you feel flushed. 100 % BS, proven by research. read Apr 2010 Alan Aragon's research review journal for references.

most argenine products do not use enough of the amino to really make a difference. what your usually feeling is the other agents such as sodium carbonate and suger or some other form of it . both are the loading agents. for arginne to be effective a minimum of 3 grams combined with orthine and other aminos to be most effective. very few products on the marked have these doses.

I don't do the fancy NOx stuff. Following along the same lines as BIGJOEY, I instead take a very high quality, time-release L-Arginine supplement on an empty stomach (early morning and late afternoon) in addition to other critical high-quality "ine" supps. Let's just say my experience with this method has been great. One awesome side-effect of L-Arginine (aside from in the gym) has been absolutely amazing hardons and an honest "gain" of approximately 1/2" in length (not kidding!). Wow was I surprised (yeah!!).

Just found this on Bodybuilding.com:

Because Arginine is a precursor of nitric oxide [which is responsible for vasodiolation] it is often used for supporting healthy sexual function

Sounds a gr8 supplement with even better side effects. I'm off to get me some!

I use jack3d which has creatine (though not enough to do anything) and nitric oxide. Though my purpose is for the motivation boost provided by caffeine. I definitely get more comments about being pumped when I take it but that's not my main reason for taking it. I guess I'd rather have muscle than an inflated/inflamed look lol.

I love the pumps - but wish they lasted longer. Great hardons too!
