Question about off-line reading

I've searched through several of the different forums here this evening to see whether a similar question has been asked, couldn't find one, and thought this might be the best place, though it doesn't seem as well-travelled as the some of the other forums here.

Essentially I'd like to be able to read some of the great stories published here while away from my computer. I've got both an iPad and iPhone, each of which has excellent .doc, .pdf and .cbr (comic book) document readers.

There also was once a .zip archive created and posted that had stories up to 2007, and luckily I managed to grab that before it disappeared.

I've resorted to copying and pasting pages and pages of text into word documents (sometimes many, many pages for multi-chapter stories posted in different threads) but it's terribly time consuming and inefficient.

What do other members here do? Is everyone else here online while perusing these stories?

Mawkroy posted a query along in the same vein a few weeks ago, asking for Tapatalk support for the board, but didn't seem to get much of a response. I'm hoping someone has some fresh ideas they could share with the other members.

I second this post. Can someone of the moderators implement tapalk?? Would be great to read this forum on mi iphone

I'm also interested, there are time where I'd really rather not be at the computer to read these stories.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

Could I make an alternative suggestion? Namely, how about having an associated website where the stories are uploaded in TXT format (which if I am correct reduces the size of the site by a large degree) and will make it accessible on smartphones?
