Preventing your male kid from causing an unwanted pregnancy

This may be a little mean, but having a 23-year-old bisexual kid who like many his age tends to think with the wrong head we came up with a plan.

He is an extremely responsible kid for the most part, but when you are 5'5" tall, with biceps heading towards the 19" mark and all other measurements in proportion we have watched him subjected to men and women alike who tend to want to throw themselves down in front of him with their legs in the air it is cause for concern.

Several years ago we knew an individual who ran an HIV hospice and we saw to it that the kid spent some time seeing the results of unprotected sex there.

To deal with the hetero couplings we have been far more devious. We have many straight friends with younger kids. Because of his appearance young kids gravitate to him like a magnet. We have put this to work to make him really think and think very thoroughly about the consequences of unprotected sex.

What we have done is to place him in charge of some really "active" young kids. He may be a bodybuilder who can bench an incredible amount of weight, but so far we have arranged for a 9-year-old and a 12-year-old to run him to the point of collapse. We have also seen to it that he was forced to deal with the joys and responsibilities courtesy of some of the partents we know. He has had to clean up dirty diapers and bottoms, bottle feed and experience barf first hand and all of the not so fun things that kids do not see.

He came to us the other day and remarked. "I don't know how people do this!"

I think his attitude has changed and made him realize the responsibility of unprotected sex so much that I now would be more worried about a hart attack from a broken condom on the spot!

If any of you have kids, this is food for thought as to how to deal with this kind of issue with yours. If you get my pun: "Let them get their hands dirty" and they will really think about what may happen to them if things go wrong!

There are some good points in your posting that all young men should be aware off not just bi sexual ones.
