Seems like a long time ago now, but I use to weigh 69kg (150lbs).
SO here I am now at my goal weight 114kg (250lbs)

Honestly, if you were to walk up to me (say in a bar) and ask me if I wanted to join you for a beer, I would most probably turn beet red and make a b-line for the door. Not because I find you unattractive. In fact quite the opposite, it's just that someone like you being interested in someone like me would strike me as incredibly odd, and the first few things that would run through my mind would be either a) you're doing this as a joke, b) you want something non-relationship wise, c) you're actually str8 and just want to do some gaybashing etc.

Maybe some guys online think something like that OR probably that you're not the guy in the pic, who you obviously are. I guess, as you can see from above the whole issue might be the person you're trying to chat with and that person might (like me) just be very cautious, shy and a complete social cock-up (no pun intended).

Anyway, you look good and big and from that smile and your posts you seem like a nice caring guy so I hope you find someone soon, cause all of you needs to be appreciated.

LOL. Comes with the territory, OZ, don't let it get you down. I seem to recall Dave Papaleo / Tom Katt got a similar initial reception when he was active 'round these parts, too.

The obsessive attention to well-known figures (I'm avoiding "celebrities") online, and of their photos and etc. being shared largely by fans without any real connection, predates the much-newer phenomenon of them having an Actual Online Presence? of their own. So it's an unfamiliar thing for many people. (The frustrating number of dickless fucktards who have nothing better to do than sit around online passing themselves off as other people certainly doesn't help matters, also.)

The trend's changing, tho... as the social web becomes more and more ingrained in our everyday lives, and regularly deals with networks involving thousands or even millions of people, participation in online social networks ceases to be impossible for even the really really famous. And a few are embracing it; undoubtedly many more will follow.

Hopefully, soon it'll be believable enough to at least consider the possibility, that the person we just encountered online could really be exactly who they say... even though we've watched them on TV / went to see their new movie / use their photo as our desktop background / have been a huge fan for years, and they're like totally famous, dude!

At the risk of overloading a long post, this story may amuse you:

Vin Diesel (who's a perfect example -- his Facebook account is rapidly closing in on twenty million fans!!) shared an anecdote recently -- Seems his studio had some promotional idea, and they wanted to see about tying it in with his Facebook page (and reaching its millions of fans). They called asking for "the person in charge of Vin's Facebook page". But... well... here's the thing: There's no "Vin Diesel Facebook Team", or some publicist's comprehensive Media Strategy governing it. Precisely one person maintains Vin's profile: Vin. He just shares random photos and info about himself, whenever he's in the mood. You know, like regular people.

...It was apparently such an alien concept for the studio drones, that several slow & careful explanations were necessary before they finally wrapped their brains around that information.

Had a bit of a shoulder injury just after Christmas so had to cut back on the training and lost fair bit of size. All feeling good again, so back to hitting it hard.
Thank god for muscle memory - have gone from 99.6kg (219lbs) to 104.3kg (231 lbs) in 12 days (so far adding a pound a day).
No doubt current rate will start to drop off - but feeling good and strong at the moment
