True! it's so rare that you see a guy with his body and attitude together. No doubt bodybuilding's hard work but is it so traumatic that every guy leaving the gym ends up becoming a statue?

P.s. @ Rixxflix: BEST thread title ever. Period.

mango is an unknown quantity at this point
think about it

This is an activity for gays who want to be wanted. If they get more attention from their results they probably started with looks, to begin with, but maybe lacked the social skills to use them fully to their advantage. Once a feed back loop develops, a guy discovers he's good at "this". pumping his muscles, he'll keep at it, maybe go onto drugs which because of his physical capabilities will likely make him, at least for a while, a prime piece, none of this changes the social problems that may have started this loop to begin with. It's like an art. People will do anything that gets them positive feedback. Because someone shows up at a gym or bar with an astounding body shouldn't imply anything else about them than maybe a need to be wanted. Instead of looking for what isn't there, and was never worked on, I suggest that if a prime piece attracts your attention you show them that you have those social qualities they may lack and that you have a lot to offer as a person and a top and if someone's need to be wanted and a great bod are enough for you then that is the bargain or deal, Tit for chat (no pun intended) but don't look for what's not being advertised because that is and probably never was the guy's strong suit. If you are looking for Christopher Reeve as Superman you probably wont find all the fine qualities you want in a guy who spends all his time, and life, working on his strong suit, his muscles. It's as wrong as going to a Pulitzer Prize winner in Chemistry and being dissappointed in their muscles. Life is imperfect in that particular way. But unless you are completely ungifted socially and physically, you can do well with these fine looking men if you know they need to be wanted and admired and fulfill that end of the bargain. Their end is just to look the way they do and maybe shed their clothes. It's that kind of bargain. If you want someone well rounded stay away from men who excell at something in particular.

Really well-stated. Not sure I agree totally--sometimes, I'm a sucker for 'compensators'--but this was pretty deep. To be honest, for a second there, I was definitely crushing on you--eloquence (something I often lack) is pretty hot.

I totally agree! He was truly enjoying himself and he wants us to enjoy the show too. And there was no leer there. It was genuine happiness he felt and that's great to see.

Those Bulgarians always have the most thick, veiny, insanely huge muscles. He is obviously chemically induced, but the genuine personality really overrides everything. I find his body to be incredibly gorgeous.
