Off topic: The world it's set in reminds me a bit of the universe in which Richard K. Morgan sets his Takeshi Kovacs Trilogy. In the 25th century immortality is possible for those who can afford it through miracle of Altered Carbon... Shortly after birth a small device (an altered carbon 'Stack') is implanted at the base of your brain that periodical record a snap shot copy of your mind. In the event your body (or 'Sleeve') dies or is several damaged your mind can be recovered from the 'stack' and loaded into another sleeve. For these who can afford changing sleeves is only a bit more involved than changing your clothes and the range of possible 'sleeves' runs from no frills synthetics to clones of your own body to custom made/grown hybrids in any shape and size that can be imagined... or you can forgo an actual and exist only as data in a virtual world of your choosing. The books are 'Altered Carbon', 'Broken Angels' and 'Woken Furies'. I class them a 'Tech Noir' or 'Cyber Punk'. While they aren't specificly Muscle Growth, Takeshi Kovacs generally wears some very studly flesh...
