Bulk Results OK. Have seen lots of updates posted from other members recently so I thought I would drop mine into the mix. This is the product of a 10 week bulk. Lifting 4x a week, cardio 2x a week. Net result was a gain of 11.25 pounds, +1 inch on biceps, -1 inch of waist, dress shirt size 18.5. Waist shrinking was kind of surprising as I was really trying to go for purely for size; but, I have a really strong ectomorphic genetic predisposition even in the face of high caloric intake (4500 per day). Chest and arms are relatively lagging in my opinion so I will focus on them as I start to plan a new workout routine. Let me know what you guys think. |

I agree with Gordon, you're made good, solid progress with your bulk. Kudos for bulking and also losing on your waist...difficult indeed. Your pics are a great incentive for me. Definite Improvement Great job Buffdoc - it's clear that the waist is more narrow and the shoulders are broader. Also, it looks to me that you have increased the size of your forearms considerably and I think I see some definition in your biceps that wasn't there in the before picture despite the increased size. That has to be a good sign! Do you know what your bodyfat % was before and after? I bet you have decreased even though your weight has increased. thanks for the feedback. brent--i went for a HIT style training this time and it really worked well for me. Notbigenuff...good eye about the forearms, i have been getting alot of props over them recently and I don't even use an isolation training for them. i am going to go to a modified push/pull for the next 10 weeks or so and see what happens and also increase the cals to see if I can push up the weight a bit faster; however, i perfer lean mass gains over less quality weight any day. |

Buffdoc, as impressive as these shots are, it seems to me that you have made enormous progress from a year ago! Quick update. With all the media videos being posted figured I should throw one up too. This is from my camera so it is not exactly videocam quality but i think it is good enough. This is the result of a mini-cutting type diet routine, i will be going for absolute size in my next bulk. I am hosting these file at a cheap angelfire site so I am sure there will be band width limits--if somebody has extra space to host please let me know. Please give me feedback.
