Flavors of muscle worship

My first partner (a couple decades ago) was a serious and roided bodybuilder. One night we were at a really expensive straight singles bar (it was Seattle in the 80's, there weren't a lot of options) when he leaned in close and whispered in my ear, "I fucking love how you make love to my muscles."

And it's true, that's what I do. It was several years later that I heard the term muscle worship and I thought that described what I was into. But the more I learned about it, and talked to people, and hooked up with people, the less I identified with the term.

Muscle worship often seems to include putting the bodybuilder on a pedestal, or better than/worse than comparisons, or projecting things onto the bodybuilder like masculinity or personal power.

Me, I just like sexing up that pumped muscle.
