Scott Adkins. Michael Jai White. Matt Mullins. Darren Shahlavi.

There is so much ripped, honed masculinity in this TV show. That right. Not just a movie. A full, fucking series. And even though it's based on Metal Hurlant (Heavy Metal in the English world) it looks like the producers are less interested in boobies and more interested in manlies.

Okay, that sounded stupid but this show looks hot. And just maaaaaybe we'll see an MG scene in an episode if we're lucky. The Heavy Metal movie had Hanover Fiste. Maybe he'll make a cameo?

While the teaser shows promise, one has to wonder how legit they are with this.

In October 2011, it was announced that a live-action TV series based on M?tal Hurlant titled M?tal Hurlant Chronicles went into production in France. A French-United Kingdom co-production, the series will consist of 24 half hour episodes to be shown over two seasons. Featured actors include Rutger Hauer, Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Joe Flanigan and James Marsters.

Now these days when it says (Country)-United Kingdom co-production, that is usually code for (Country)-Sky TV co-production (because only Sky has the sort of money that you can do these sorts of things), so I think it is definitely going to be a goer and will be broadcast on Sky One or Sky Atlantic (and in HD on both channels)

it definitely has the potential to be quite horrible in terms of story quality and what not, but it looks to have a guarantee of good muscle, and i've endured bad tv shows or movies in the name of muscle before, so I for one can't wait

That's the spirit! I have definitely dumped some stuff because it was crap, despite the promise of eye candy, but sometimes it's worth it to stick around with junky TV and movies.
