Any Video Games with Muscle Growth? Hey Guys, toughluck made an interesting thread about new movies that have muscle growth. I was inspired to write this thread about muscle growth in video games. Are there any video games (besides the Hulk game) that have muscle growth? Also, I would love it if they had a bodybuilding video/PC game that starts with a man (under, average, or above average weight) and you create a workout routine (see them workout), diet, and supplements and see how they progress. After the end of each week you see the results by looking at his "before" picture and see him transform to his current weight and stature. I know that there is POSER programs out there but they are difficult to get, if anyone has information on it, please let me know. What do you think about this? Let's thread on... |

well... it's not exact... or maybe it is for what your after... but take a look at the game "Fable" It's an action RPG that gives you a wide variety of choices for growth... you start as a teenager and age as you go through the game and gain in power. Most specificly to your tastes, you gain subtile muscle growth through fighting... if you want huge arms and chest... swing a heavy weapon around for a while... overtime the model slightly changes... if you do alot of bow and arrow fighting, your forearms will get noticibly more muscluar. You gain less subitle growth when you level up your body... spend your time fighting and eating red meat, you can get a stronger body... lastly, there is a spell called "Berserk" that morphs you into a hulking figure then deflat after your exhusted (not to mention you can save the game durring the hulk out phase, and keep the muscles afterwards) Hope that helps... it's a pretty fun game to boot, and you can be a homosexual if you so choose. |

Humm, FarCry ? Humm, FarCry has some in it as i remember. The man character changes once infected with some injected syrum which was injected into you by the Evil doctor whilst you were held down by his guards (as i remember, maybe he injected himself, not sure). Anyway, you begin to change skin colour, gain height, and become more veiny and i think more muscled like the other converted soldiers, which are bloody huge and freakish muscled i might add. Im not going to say what happens and spoil the end just incase you have not played it. Great game though! not that i play them much anymore, just dont have the time... The most controversial video game ever, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has muscle growth that is fun to see. You start out as a skinny guy (not terribly thin, but not big either), bit of fat on you. As you work out more and more, you start to get bigger. As one player put it "my character is starting to look like a gorrila" meaning that his lats had gotten so big, that he didn't look human. I've only gotten the muscle meter to halfway, and he's starting to look like a HW bodybuilder. |

Should have been more specific... Unfortunately what I have not mentioned was that I don't have Xbox... I do have Gamecube, Gameboy Advcance, a PC, and PS2. Not too thrilled to look at Grand Theft Auto 2 but will borrow from a friend just for curiosity. I am happy to see this thread become very lively. I look forward to see more responses and suggestions. |

video games with muscle growth There was a videogame from the '80's called "Space Ace" about a nerdy space-travelling kid who turns into the muscular superhero at different points during the game. I think it was by the same folks who made "Dragon's Lair", and it consists of branching video segments that you maneuver through depending on the choices you make and your timing. I didn't ever care about winning, just getting the transformation scene as often as I could for my quarter. I think it's available on CD-rom, and usually in the bargain bin divis24 |

With the space ace and dungeun Lair games are actually avaliable on DVD (since the game play was simple four direction and action...) a regular DVD player can play it... you can even veiw the game from the perspective of someone who plays the game perfectly... so you don't have to play through the tidious game play... it's a bargin bin at most game stores... |

I do know that GTA:SA is available for both PS2 (which it came out for originally, and still commands a princely sum to purchase) and PC It's far too violent for the poor dears that purchase a Gamecube |

Wasn't there a game for the Genisis way back in the day, I think the name was altered beast, where you could pick up these tokens and your character would get bigger and more muscular, till he eventually turned into a monster of sorts, Dunno if that's the kinda thing you're looking for but it came to mind so thought I'd mention it __________________ adult with the looks of a teen trying to gain muscle to achieve the body that matches his age and maturity |

"Welcome to your doom!" Yeah, I remember Altered Beast. I think it was originally an arcade game. I think the console ports added some cutscenes... http://www.mameworld.net/maws/romset/altbeast |

BATMAN GETS INJECTED WITH VENOM?!! As if this game wasn't already on my must play list! |
| |||
Erm... I know it was a long shot, but are there any more scenes with Batman growing even more, as we only get a little taster of it in the video...? Just thought I'd ask... Neil __________________ ..... Lover of all things musclegrowth |

Unfortunately, Batman doesn't get any bigger then you saw in that clip. He takes an anti venom or something that stops it. |

but the Joker does get injected and grows and i think the muscle growth theam gets carried on into the secong game thts gonna come out |
| |||
Actually Joker is the final boss of the game, but we don't actually see his growth. But, there it is if you guys were interested. Starts at 3:30. |

Not really that much of a big "muscle growth" game or anything, but I'm fiddling around something called "Raise Your Own Mootopian." It's a sim game where they give you a baby and you feed him milk for either muscle, milk or teeth. After a week or two he'll grow up into a muscle hunk, and you might even get a message that your kid has been ripping trees out of the ground if all you feed him is muscle milk. Don't think the game is worth the entire time and effort, but I've got nothing else to do during my free time. __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage |

that sounds like an interesting game, redkage. Any pics of your muscle kid? |
| |||
Here's a pic of what i got so far, not sure if this is as good as it gets. Game wise, it's not that big. You feed him milk every day, make sure he's happy and then he goes to sleep until tomorrow. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q.../mootopian.jpg __________________ Ancient Proverb: Whatever doesn't kill you today will only make you sore the next morning. redkage |
