I haven't investigated but it used to be a setting in your options. It may also be that by not having all images visible automatically, it cuts down on the bandwidth. i.e. no casual browsing at owners expense, you gotta actually want to see a particular image. Especially since the images have been getting bigger and a bit off topic.

Yeah I like Tom of Finland but what are his images doing in here? They're all copyrighted. Same thing with Hun and Colt images. This site seems to be turning into just another hunky man site picture oogle site with images that are previously visible at many other sites. Let's try to keep the images unique here. Stay on topic, "male muscle growth", not "every freakin' muscle man in the world that's in you all's personal JO library". I actually enjoyed the time off from images and spent more time catching up on the discussions and stories the way it used to be. If the picture ain't yours, don't copy it into here, point at it with a link if you must show it off, but don't copy it into here.

As I said before, it would be very helpful if members manually turned off "Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)" in their Options.
