Calves

I didn't really see a topic focused on this but guys too many lifters suffer from small legs and they are honestly one of my favorite bodyparts, now my problem isn't legs but calves in general. Damn my genetics so I decided to do something about it and one of my favorite blogs posted a article on how to grow calves. I wanted to post it here and I will let you know the results of it, I've been doing it for the past 3 days and don't feel many changes but just to see how it goes. Wish me luck.

If you're not reading t nation I would give it a try

i've heard people mention here and there that simple bodyweight calf raises can do the trick. My calves are pretty decent, but as is the usual case, I could always go for getting them bigger. running more and doing high repetition moves at the gym have started the process. Think I may give this method a try to. Sounds like a good way to start the day. Good luck with it man. Here's to massive calves

If my upper arms were ever as big as my calves I'd die a happy man.

I've not done the bodyweight exercises to 100 reps but, when I changed my leg routines (quads and calves) to higher reps with the weights (targeting 20 reps per set), my legs responded dramatically faster. Obviously, I started using lower weights but the workouts were killer.

I always wanted calves so big that if my two calves were touching, my ankles wouldn't. But never quite made it.

I love this guide. It's picutre perfect. I have noticed that heels lifting off the ground on squats, unless I have done standing or seated calf raise first. I try not to use the full range squat mainly cause I had knee problems in the past and wish to not aggrivate it.

I'm glad this guide only talked about toes away from the body. cause toes pointed inward. . . is really bad form.

Some people have a tough time developing calves others have big calves without doing too much. Everyone's calves can be improved but whether they are going to be huge or not is mainly genetics.
