NaNoWriMo As you may or may not know, November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo for short. Basically, you spend the entire month of November writing a novel of at least 50,000 words. This website can give you more info: www.nanowrimo.org I'm making preparations for a novel of my own. While it's not muscle-based, I am putting no less than 100% into it as much as I can. I haven't even started writing yet (you can't officially start until 12:00AM local time on November 1st) and it's already taking on a life of its own. So, any planned novelists for NaNoWriMo? __________________ Rule 34: If it exists, there's porn of it. If not, it will be made. Exception: You can't invoke rule 34 on itself. |

I'm going for it this year. I'm actually slightly cheating, as I've got about 50,000 words written toward a novel I'm working on. My goal is to get 60,000 more words written over the course of the month. -X- |

I've been doing this since 2002. It's a lot of fun, but it is a challenge. I never thought of it before, but the determination you need to have to write consistently is a lot like the determination you need to workout consistently. I'm "The Magus" on the boards there, too, if anyone wants to look me up. I'll be writing a fantasy zombie apocalypse (again...sigh) this year. |

I'm doing something similar (on a different timescale). I'm doing a version of "Around the World in Eighty Days" based on the idea behind "Lost in Austen" which is: Quote:
