I'll start.. Shoulders look amazing when pumped.. like small bowling balls, nice and round from all sides! but nothing beats pumped pecs! tense, bulging and flushed! #reason why I like training shoulders and pecs same day __________________ . I agree a shoulder pump looks awesome. I love shoulder day cuz of that. I start looking so thick it's great. For me, the pumps that feel the best are arms and upper back. Kind of a tie for me. Arms is just awesome for me. I love working them until I can barely bend them anymore. Love it when it's a struggle for me to remove my headphones because my arms are just so swollen. It makes me feel so powerful, and usually will have me on a high for hours after. Upper back does the same for me. I just feel like such a freaking beast when it's pumped. The other day I could barely think straight after my workout. The pump was just so intense. Truth be told, the rest of the bodyparts are a close second to those two. The pumps are awesome period lol __________________ Grow big. Grow strong. Grow hard. |

great question and a tough one to answer, but I'll say I LOVE feeling my arms all swole after a total arms workout. rarely train bis n tris together - just when I feel I need a bit of a 'treat', LOL. But when I do I love seeing them grow thick in the gym mirrors while I pump em....and stealing an extra flex after each set....get the veins popping. GRRRRR I'm inspired to have one of those days TODAY!!!! LOL Thnx |

I gotta say arms. After lifting, I always feel it in my arms. First time I ever lifted, my arms felt like they were gonna grow till they exploded. |

I also like pumped tris. Last week I did two sets of db skull crushers where I brought the weights down past my head to beside my ears, while holding my elbows up and close in. What a burn! My upper tris BURNED and pumped up something amazing -- and I was only using 10 pound dumbbells in each hand where I normally use 30 to 40!! What a rush! LOVE IT! Mdlftr - who enjoying growing, even though it's too slow to actually "see" happening. |

I prefer leg work and the pump I get from heavy squats. There is nothing better than not being able to get into the pants you wore into the gym because your legs and butt are too pumped from heavy squats. |

Heh, wish I could feel a good back pump! __________________ . My morphs can be found here: http://www.musclegrowth.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=19127 |

I remember once after a particularly hard workout my friend told me I could stop flexing. Heck who was flexing! It's PUMP!! |
| |||
I picked arms and back, but really, any pump I feel is the best pump. There's something awesome about that swollen, full feeling...the best pump is the pump I have that day. But because I picked arms....I really love feeling the sleeves on t-shirts be extra tight after a good arm workout. I wear the smaller shirts on arms day for that exact reason. |

Which muscle pump do you like best This may sound weird but for me, there's nothing like a back pump! If you've never had one, it's the feeling in which blood is 'pumped' into the muscle for support during overload causing it to expand in size and becoming tight, thus being 'pumped' up. To achieve maximum muscular growth a pump (hyperemia) is essential. The only way to get a good pump is by training correctly with the right food intake, to allow proper blood flow to the working muscles. Working muscles need blood to supply them with oxygen and nutrients, and remove waste products (lactic acid and carbon dioxide). When training a muscle, blood flow is diverted from other bodily processes, to supply this muscle with what it needs to perform to its maximum. The blood first needs to become oxygenated. This happens in the lungs--specifically through gaseous exchange in the alveoli and then it's pumped to the working muscles, where it is pooled, resulting in the tight feeling called the "pump." During training, a muscle can receive up to four times the amount of blood it would ordinarily get. The muscles need/receive all this blood because they require sufficient oxygen and nutrients to continue the sustained contracting that results in a pump. Waste products also need to be removed, for the muscle to continue working. Ultimately, muscles need blood to work effectively and recover quickly after exertion. If your muscles are working effectively, they will G-R-O-W!! Muscle growth will also result from the fascial stretching, which occurs when the muscle is pumped beyond its normal size. When the fascial layer (found between the skin and the muscle) is stretched, room for additional muscle growth becomes available. Over time, the pump also creates more capillaries (tiny blood vessels), which will in turn, provide the muscles with more nutrients and oxygen and allow for larger pumps and more growth in the long term. You know you have a pump when your muscles get a very full, tight feeling and your skin becomes tighter because of it. It's a feeling you have to experience to really understand. It's truly a powerful and remarkable feeling though! |

FRNKP, thanks a lot. You just made me hard for the rest of the night. That kind of talk is too hot for words. __________________ Blogger: http://whitepapermusclestories.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: http://whitepapermuscle.tumblr.com/ Wordpress: http://whitepapermuscle.wordpress.com/ |

Sorry 'bout that Raven! Frank |
| |||
FRNK is correct, a fully pumped muscle feels like it is flexed even when it is not. It also becomes harder and temporarily larger/heavier.. all good! pumped legs, for example, become so heavy, they change walking pattern. try walking with a 2-lb weight strapped over your legs.. I walk heavier, slower. pumped and tired calves WILL change anyone's walking pattern! __________________ . My morphs can be found here: http://www.musclegrowth.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=19127 |

Amen to that inm!! |

For me, it's my shoulders...after a good shoulder workout, you could use my shoulders as bowling balls if you drilled three holes into them... |
