Video Games

What kind of video games do you all like? I personally like stuff such as Vice City, Tiger Woods (02-06), plus a lot of older stuff. This includes; Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars (man that's a mouthfull.) and other Mario games.

I enjoy fighters myself. Street Fighter type games and Soul Calibur move to the front of the list, followed closely by SNK

Well, the Paper Mario games were in fact a sequal of sorts to SM:RPG LotSS, because there are things like "maple syrup" and other items like that, which are seen in the PM games.

Lately I have been playing Oblivion on Xbox 360 a lot. Also downloading a lot of demos and stuff to it.
I usually get into fighting games -Soul Calibur, Tekken and Street Fighter. I also do a MMORPG flavor of the month since I get bored of them real fast.

Rebo, what kind of MMORPG's?

Also I like playing with my new toy (no not that kind of toy) Star Wars: Empire at War and loving it. Can't wait for Forces of Corruption expansion pack to come out this fall. (Has the Executor [from Episodes 5 and 6] Super Star Destroyer, the Death Star 2, and the Eclispe Super Star Destoryer {if you know your Star Wars well enough you know what this baby can do} among other things.

Right now I'm playing New Super Mario Bros but I think I'm finished with it. I want to start an RPG next. I love games that let me create characters, especially hunky ones with big swords and no shirts.

I like any game that lets you be creative. The more the better. However, I play the Sims 2 off and on and it lets me down but I'm still intrigued by the objects and the expansion packs. Enough that I consider buying them.

I'm currently playing and loving Okami by Capcom on PS2. You play a wolf with god like powers over the natural world. Incredibly beautiful and fun if you like long quest like games. There are some Zelda like elements but the game is an original. The Japanese artwork alone is worh the very moderate price of the game. Also always enjoy The Sims 2 on the computer. There are let downs but you can still be very creative with the characters and I've managed a few characters that are moderately muscle bound!!

I don't play that many to be honest, but am quite taken by:
  • Animal Crossing (Wii) due to all the references to "pumped guns"
  • Wii Sports (Wii) only because I can manage to get lots of home runs
  • Mario Kart Wii (Wii)
  • and Mario and Sonic at the (Winter) Olympics (Wii)

I usually like RPGs, and have been into the indie scene lately, especially RPG Maker stuff.I've got a pS2 but don;t use it that much lately. Yachirobl, you might wanna check out Cyber Factor. I'm probably one of the few non-gym guys here. . .

My fave games...

Sorry, not on the x360 bandwagon...

My top games in no particular order:

Uncharted 2
World of Warcrack (Alliance on Proudmoore)
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Castlevania: Lords of Darkness

Oldschool games:
Goldeneye for the N64
Super Mario RPG for the SNES
Chrono Trigger for the SNES
Final Fantasy 7 for the PS
Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for the PS2

Just started playing Diablo 2 just to be familiar with it before 3 comes out.

If anyone enjoys multiplayer stuff, don't hesitate to speak up or drop me a PM.

I think my favorites right now are Monster Hunter Tri, Godzilla Unleashed, and Super Smash Bros Brawl. I got a penchant for huge amounts of epic destruction without using bullets. Give me fire breathing over ammo any day of the year!

I'm definitely a Nintendo boy. Have had every system except Virtual Boy. Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Metroid, and Donkey Kong are among my favorite franchises.

I've branched off though. Final Fantasy is also a great franchise, and most recently I've gotten into Assassin's Creed and Left 4 Dead 2 on the 360. Currently, of course, I am most excited for November 20 because that is when The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword comes out. I'll definitely get a little lost in that
