I'm accustomed to posting things that are met with deafening silence, but if guys are going to start hyperventilating, I'll have to include a health warning from now on...lol. Thanks anyway for the nice words (OMG, drool, etc.). |

Too bad the lighting is so poor , but worth a look anyways http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i2...aiggolias3.jpg |

Suma, I hope you don't mind, but I tweaked the lighting on that great Craig Golias pic... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...aiggolias3.jpg __________________ Donnie My Blog: Donnie's Diversions My MSN Space with pics & workout blog Jacksonville, Onslow County, NC, USA I'm reminded of the immortal last words of Socrates who said, "I Drank What?!" |

Actually Deetrakt, because it was so dark, didn't notice that it was color until later. Sorry DonniJvilleNC, thanks for the improved lighting ! |

Nice photos, they bring back memories. That is probably the best pic of Mendenhall I've seen. |

--- From these last set of BW images Deetrakt, I find the classic poses from those days - so much more inspirational for my art. cant quite put my finger on it, but there's something about the form and dyniamics there thats amazing and crisp. Not overly stylized or something. Maybe its just me ... --- (thanks) |

Great, thanks!!! Erik FrankHAUSEr is one of my favourites. He has amazing legs (Well, the rest of him is amazing too, but his calves really are the biggest and more defined I've seen. ) |

Matt Mendenhall stopped competing in the early nineties. He had a hard time getting as ripped as the judges wanted by that time. I've heard a rumor alcohol had something to do with that, but I couldn't say for sure. When he lost the USA to Gary Strydom, it seemed to take the wind out of his sails and he never really recovered from that as a competitor. The last I heard, he was married and living in North Carolina I believe. He had a massage business. I've always taken a personal interest in him as I think he had some of the greatest genetics in the history of the sport, and also because we are distantly related. I've never met him though. |
