Interesting. Edward Norton isn't just the star of the movie, he's also its screenwriter. From MTV's Movieblog--"I came into this and rewrote the screenplay," revealed Norton. "I was a Marvel kid. I had subscriptions to a lot of the comics … I loved the early incarnation of the Hulk, and then the television show as a kid." |

If Hulk looks scary, what about the abomination! A.M. |

Yay abomination! I just hope they do him justice. I'm actually liking the picture, looks a lot more realistic than the last, but I suppose that's to be expected. __________________ Check out my Progress: http://www.musclegrowth.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=28258 Yahoo me: wowbuff06 |

I think it looks less realistic. If such a term can be applied to a fictional creature. |
| |||
Here there be spoilers! Someone got his hands on a draft of Edward Norton's script and gives it two green thumbs up... well, not really green. And speaking of green (with envy), check out this Hulk-eriffic case mod I'd love to have sitting beside a huge-ass monitor. |

Hulk's back - what's up with that? The movie poster was revealed during the past week in the wake of an ongoing "feud" between Norton and Marvel. |
| |||
I liked the CGI one. It made him look more like the comic book Hulk. |
| |||
I thought that might be the case, I saw the resemblance. |
| |||
Empire magazine has two new pics, one of which makes me wonder where the Hulk got pants that big. |
| |||
... or how his pants always stayed in proportion with his growth when all his other clothes shred at the first sign of 'hulking out' - must have been Dockers! |
| |||
sorry to burst your bubble but they scrapped that idea a little while after they scanned his image into the computer. check the movie out again it looks nothing like priest. |
| |||
I guess it was all in my mind then... oh well, one can dream! |
| |||
In those pics, the Hulk still looks a little doughy. I wonder if they chose to do that, or if they're having trouble creating realistic, harder-looking muscle. About the pants... maybe Banner has had a closetful made in extra-stretchy spandex : ) Cheers, divis24 |

Interesting article on how the Hulk's CGI finally gets upgraded. Also features the brand new TV spot. |

wish list What I'd really like to see would be a slow (kinda) morph muscle sequence from banner to hulk. That would be soooo great, because most shows flash and shadow the effect with little to no graduation. If there was, its in parts, and I would love an all round cam circle of a transformation sequence. Realistically I won't expect the pants to disappear (altho' I agree with many here, they should!) --- |
| |||
As we can see in the trailer, there will be a transformation in the fog (teargas), and another under a road (the hand rising from the tar). So not very visible transformations. The most promising is the one in the lab. |
| |||
Yup, that was incredible Just got back from watching The Incredible Hulk, and for me, it was a lot better than the first movie in terms of characterization, fight scenes, and yes, muscle growth. It can be taken wholly on its own (though I'm not sure what someone who's never heard of the Hulk will treat it) and has enough going for it to warrant a sequel (but not as much as Iron Man does. ). Highly recommended. |
| |||
it cant be that much harder to be better than the last one:P but yeah Ive been hearing great things about it, cant wait to see it. |
| |||
The last one wasn't that bad, but this one's certainly being compared favourably to it. Might have to go see it on the big screen. |
| |||
What were the transformations like? I found a low quality cam version online and through skimming I've seen four (3 hulks + abomination). Am I missing any? The lab one seems the most promising, and the Abomination one looked pretty hot as well, actually (though it cut off in the version I saw ) |
| |||
Is there anything after the credits? Did anyone think to stay? I figure with what happened at the end of Iron Man... and this movie crossing in Tony Stark as a character... ... I didn't know if they would take another step toward fleshing out the inevitable "Avengers" movie. |
| |||
I just got back from it and omg it was amazing by far the best thing I've seen since Iron man so go check it out __________________ Play nice people. |

Wow! I loved this movie - for a comic book fan it had a little of everything, include very quick glimpses of what's to come (not including the final scene). Transformations aren't the reason to go to this - I didn't find any of them to be spectacular though well handled. But the action, the emotion, and the "heart" of this film makes it great! __________________ "You can never be too rich or too big!" |

Good but not great I saw the movie last night and enjoyed it. It was a fun action flick. But I have to admit I was a little dissapointed in the transformation department. There really weren't any great transformation scenes--my favorite part of any Hulk movie/tv show. The one in the lab was ok but not great. Still, I would recomend the movie. It was soooo much better than the last one. |
| |||
I agree with the general sentiment that the movie was a good "popcorn movie" -- entertaining enough but did not blow me away. Can't compare it to Iron Man (did not see), but the final scenes with Tony Stark and Banner make an Avengers film seem nearly inevitable. The cineplex I went to (AMC Century City) has a 7ft statue of the Hulk in the lobby. Are these in other places? |
| |||
Haven't seen any statues, but if you've got any 7-11's near you, they all have cut outs that stand about 6ft tall in the stores as well as "crazy straws" with Hulk and the Abomination on it, both about 1.5"-2.0" tall. |
| |||
Theres one at my AMC theater and I did like the transformation scene where they are in NYC it was so uncomfortable but I couldn't help but watch __________________ Play nice people. |

i saw it on Friday and freaking loved it!! i think it was much better than previous Hulk. i haven't seen Iron Man but i just might after the final scene. i was definitely entertained by cameos. i thought the Hulk in this movie looked better than the previous movie. even in the trailer, when the Hulk is walking down the street in NYC and does that shoulder twitch, i was hooked. the Hulk's transformation was cool. i can't say the same for the others. |
| |||
Definitely better than the last one by far though not as good as Iron Man. It had a lot of action which is one of the things Hulk is about. But it also had emotion and isolation and doing what has to be done rather than what you want to be done and those things are all parts of the Hulk as well. The transformations were good but not anything super spectacular but still cool. Abomination's transformation looked painful from the first injection to the last growth. Not to mention that he looked quite hideous. Having Tony Stark at the end was just icing on the cake. Avenger's is definitely coming eventually. Just wait for the coming Ant Man, Thor, and Captain America movies. They're all coming eventually. Don't bother waiting until the credits are over though cause there isn't anything there. And end long post. |

I think I might like the first one better (shut up, you mouth-breathing troglodytes) but this one wasn't bad. That said, I am itching to see the real Incredible Hulk movie. Both the director and Ed Norton aren't happy with the version in theaters as they think it cheapened their vision. I can't agree until I see their edit so I hope they release it on special edition DVD. It's a shame the studio didn't trust them but that's Hollywood for ya. Not a lot of good growth scenes other than the third hulk scene in the lab in which you really get to see it but it's also kinda gross looking so I only got a little excited before that was over-ridden by "eww!" The abomination didn't even really get a transformation and, frankly, Tim Roth was not given enough to do in this version anyway. Asides: 1. What's up with Liv Tyler's upper lip? 2. The Brazillian girl who's Bruce's pseudo-love interest was HOT! 3. The Brazillian dude who trains Bruce was SUPER HOT!!! He didn't need gamma rays! 4. Avengers movie in 2011! Yay! |

They are going to make the Avengers movie. It was very clear by the time abomination cam into being snd the doctor never came out again after his head went through a weird mutation. and then my friends where peicing other movies together wth this one. So it all points tht way. especially wen the guy talking to the lutenant talks to this guy and the guy says we are forming an elite team. so I would suggest you see the movie its pretty good. |
| |||
I saw it last night... and REALLY liked it. !WARNING - SPOLIERS! Avengers is a definite. Did anyone notice during the credits they flashed "Nick Fury's" name? I don't remember the document it was on or the other info, but I saw the name... plus "Iron Man" and the end of this movie all make it VERY clear! Now, about the movie. What I didn't like: They didn't explain what they did with Abomination. Seriously... WTF do they do with him? Also, what ever happened to "Mr. Blue" after he got Banner's blood in his head? I also didn't like the CGI on Blonsky in his pre-Abomination transfermation. It was a little too obvious that it was digitil... or airbrushed or something. Either way... it didn't look right. Everything else, I though, was great! It's OBVIOUSLY better then the last one (feel a little bad for Eric Bana, though), but I also think it was a decent movie too. It wasn't as good as "Iron Man" (Robert Downey Jr. really DID make that movie...), but I thought it was good. Basically, you go for the Muscle Growth... but you stay for the story. |

I liked the new Hulk movie better than the other one. I know some people are complaining about the CGI, but in my opinion it doesn't matter. It looked real enough to me. |

well abomination usually is sent to a shield prison where he stays for a bit before some how breaking out in the marvel universe he's like one of the few that actually poses a huge threat to the hulk. And yes the avengers film is in the works they are just setting up Thor, Ant Man and Capt movies but not quite sure who else will be in the film so we'll see. But Ed Norton played a brilliant Bruce Banner. __________________ Play nice people. |
