Other notes: 1. Bruce is learning to control the Hulk...and he's starting to like it. Woo! 2. Bruce and Betty almost have a love scene but Bruce has to stop because he gets "too excited." Was Zak Penn (and Ed Norton) going with the idea of the Hulk as an erection metaphor? More importantly, does that mean that the Hulk producers know about us? Probably not, but... |

The first one was just, well, lacking something. I've got a copy of it here, but have only watched it once. It's a reasonable film, but it just seems to be going through the motions. I'll pop back and take a look again once I've seen the current one. |

... I can't believe that didn't occur to me sooner ... |

Physics of The Hulk NPR ran an interesting story this morning about a physics professor that teaches a class for animators. As an extra on their website, they have a video where he critiques the science and physics of the current Hulk movie (he also critiques the whole "jumping" thing from Ang Lee's "Hulk"). He points out common errors that animators make with these kinds of movies that detract from them (at least for me). The characters don't seem to obey an internal logic for how physics would work in their universe. Hopefully, with the next Hulk movie, they can improve. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...oryId=92189335 |

The theme they're playing with here, which at least one reviewer picked up on, is that Bruce would likely "hulk out" if get sexually aroused - he'd probably kill someone he loved by having sex with them. It's an aspect of the character that makes him more lonely and tragic. Of course, that makes me think that Bruce can't be a celibate monk. Surely he has to go off in the woods or somewhere and wank off/hulk out once in a while... |

Here's another funny stuff making fun of Hulk's 'sexual life'. LOL http://www.liquidgeneration.com/Medi..._Energy_Drink/ Somehow, Hulk is fun to parody at. *Recalls Homer Simpson acting like Hulk...* |

The Avengers Movie is happening and the Hulk in it seems to be more like Ang Lee's design, but scaled down to more Human height compared to Norton and Lee's movies: As seen in the movie trailer here: Concept Art: Screenshots: |
