I have a lot of people saying this to me lately, I was very big and bulked up in college and I am working to get back to my heaviest. The muscle memory has made gains very easy so everyone is shocked at the change.

Hey all,

I have been spending a lot of time in the gym lately and getting some good gains -- one pic here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/massingup/1257607002/ -- but was in Montreal recently for their Pride celebrations and had a couple of fun size-related moments. My favourite was when I was waiting in line for the bathroom at a gay bar.

Was just standing there, shirtless, minding my own business, and the guy behind me says "Wow, you must be American!" Now, I'm Canadian and I'm IN Canada, so I turned to the guy and said "No, I'm Canadian. Why?" And he says "Damn, I thought that only Americans got that BIG!"

Heh heh... it both made me laugh and made me feel good about the recent gains. So of course, now I need to get even bigger! <g>

Just so you all will know:

James is even more impressive in person than he is in his pix, which just don't give a sense of his scale. You look at his pix and think "great shoulders." You stand next to all 6 feet 3 of him and you realize, "Oh My God! Fucking gigantic shoulders!"

And he's just gonna get bigger.

And to repay the compliment, Richard aka arpeejay has been doing some GREAT work in the gym himself lately.

The developments thus far are very impressive, and I can't wait to see how the gains play out in the next 6 months. And he REALLY needs to take some new pics... <g>

the other day my mom told i was getting too "beefy" lol, cuz my jeans are getting really tight, but ive been putting alot of work into my legs so glad to know its showin

Today a guy who used to bounce at my bar--a huge mother at 6'7" and STACKED--told me today that I was getting big. As a joke, he suggested I quit bartending and managing the place and start working the door, because I'm getting the size for it. (The joke was that I'd step down for what could be the worst job in the front of the house for less money, NOT that I was getting big.)

That made my shorts look ridiculous for awhile.

So, at yesterday's TGIaF (nobody sticks around our office late on Fridays, so we do a Thank God it is Almost Friday), I was having drinks on our restaurant's balcony, talking with friends when one started poking us in the chest. When he got to me, I flexed as he poked. His eyes went wide and poked again. "Damn! The boy's got pecs." He poked himself and felt his chest then poked me again. "Shit. I mean I thought I had pecs, but dude..." I just grinned.
