Die young and live a big corpse. |
| |||
All the bodybuilders who died under 55 years old were Caucasian. I think there is some biological reason why their bodies couldn't handle the stresses of bodybuilding. I think East Asian males could have similar issues however very few have gotten that big. Kris Dim had a major heart attack about 10 years ago. I think accumulated fat around the stomach region(many of the guys that died had wide waists) or the increased blood pressure from the muscle mass on the heart or not taking drugs properly are causes for their deaths. Back to Isaac Ghavidel, he is like the great majority of Middle Eastern bodybuilders. They have great silhouettes but they lack biceps definition and size. |

Mat Duvall, RIP, age 40 - Liver Failure (suffered from pain med addiction) Nasser el-Sonbaty, RIP, age 47 -kidney infection (supposedly became ill in Egypt while on vacation and did not seek medical treatment right away. ) Art Atwood, RIP, age 37 - circumstances of his death are still unclear. Mike Mentzer, RIP, age 49 - died of natural causes Ray Mentzer, RIP, age age 47 - kidney failure caused by Berger's Disease |
| |||
Are Samoans Caucasians? No. Sonny Schmidt, who hailed from Samoa, and lived in Australia when he died at 51 of cancer wasn't Caucasian. |
| |||
Are Arabs Caucasian? No . Nasser el-Sonbaty, RIP, age 47 -kidney infection (supposedly became ill in Egypt while on vacation and did not seek medical treatment right away. ) That makes two from opposite end of the Earth who died before 55 and were not "White". Back to the drawing board dude. |

28 year old Syrian dies in Bombay before the 2011 Mr Universe Contest A 28-year-old Syrian body builder, Mahmoud Ibrahim Alhdidi, died on Friday night in his room at the Retreat hotel in Malad (west). He arrived in Mumbai four days ago as a participant for the Mr Universe World Championship, an international body building competition in the city. He died of heart failure, according to the first post mortem report, police said Saturday. http://www.dnaindia.com/mumbai/16081...tion-in-mumbai |

His name is Katsumi Kitamura. He was called "Muscle Kitamura" However, he died young http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...7313411&page=1 He looks great having his meal in raw panties. Apparently the cause of death was eating the wrong raw egg or piece of meat. He at a lot of those things the site says and the video shows. |

ARPEEJAY, I wasn't talking to you, sorry if you thought so, but to this comment Quote:
I've got this huge quote but I need to make a longer comment. My list of dead non-White bodybuilders was in reply to this comment. |

Mohammed Benaziza, RIP, 33, causes unknown. |
| |||
Causes very well known actually. Multiple cardiovascular events due to severe dehydration which was not diagnosed correctly and istreated on the way to the hospital. Not to blame the people who tried to help, they just don't know what bodybuilders do to themselves as part of contest prep, one more victim of 'our little secrets'. BTW this thread has degraded into yet another sensationalist interpretation of statistics. Take a while and do it right: during the careers of the aforementioned unlucky individuals (and do remember they atarted using well before getting to be known at all), you could probably easily estimate the number of their peers doing the same thing at 10000. And believe me, this is a huge underestimate if we count in recreational use. Kindly look up the statistics for number of heart attack (stroke, similar cardiovascular event) victims between 35 and 45 years of age, per 10000 people for the general population. You will be surprised out of your pants. Quoting numbers out of context is not information, even if it seems like it is. Here is a recent example of what it leads to: with the terrorist scare after 911 many people decided to travel by car instead of by plane, and as a result the increase of fatal car accidents in 6 months became a number higher than the total number of terrorist fatalities in air travel EVER. Don't get me wrong, dangers are real and present, just like with anything else. It's just that we're less desensitized, and the subject matter is all shrouded in mystery. BUt let me try to bring some perspective here - any sport which results in heart enlargement (a normal adaptation to the demands of the body in such sports) makes you more likely to die if you have a heart attack or stroke. Just so there is NO misunderstanding note the IF in 'IF you have a heart attack or stroke'. Most journalists would, in their ever-so-eager need to shorten everything into a headline, write this as 'sportsmen more likely to die of heart attack and stroke', and thus, as has long been the tradition, completely lose the actual meaning of the statistic. The reason for this is that unlike the 'ordinary untrained folk' a hypertrophied heart is actually capable of pumping blood hard enough to cause blood vessel rupture, for ordinary guys more likely to simply be too weak, so it will go into fibrilation and possibly stop but other damage will be limited. |

HEre's something that might be interesting, Dorian Yates speaking openly and frankly about steroid use in the second part of the interview (and he mentiones Nurofen related liver problems too). OTOH really going overboard with chlorinated water conspiracy theory 'chlorine in the water is put in to make you stupid and obedient and believe anything they say' sounds sort of a waste of conspiracy since it already implies believing anything someone says even without the chlorine (but on the other hand, about it). Or, maybe it worked very well before they figured it out? |
| |||
What?! Chlorine makes you compliant? Holy Jeesuz, no wonder my parents had me chlorinating the pool so much... and I did it. WTF?! Mindfuck. |
| |||
I know this somehow turned into the death thread, but if possible can we focus on Big Issac Ghavidel, he's huge and handsome. We all know massive amounts of steroid can kill, just like massive amounts of everything else. Eh, nevermind I see another thread was already created :/ |
