Gay Muscle Romance Novels I am curious about what you all would like to have written. I think that there is a need for gay muscle romance novels and I am considering writing them. I would like to get a feel of how many guys would be interested in reading this genre of writing. I look forward to your feedback. |

I do encourage you to go ahead. However, muscle should probably be only the initial spur. A novel, in my opinion, must have some psychological density as well, if you what I mean. |

Thanks, yes there will be some depth in the novel and a story behind it and will explore the characters as well. There will be ups and downs in the relationship but that will make it grow stronger. |

??? Romance is in the air.... O.k., I'm intrigued AND confused. When you say "Gay Muscle Romance Novel" you mean something like a "romance novel" except it involves men, muscle growth and lots of obstacles until the couple gets together? So that means it should contain the following: 1. Scene where our protagonists meet "cute" 2. One protagonist is a badass or a "bad boy" or a "town rebel" 3. the other protagonist is "good person" "local saint, aka "doormat"" who has been unlucky at love, and who has either: a. returned to the hometown to lick their wounds or b. never left the hometown, AND who is: 4. The town librarian 5. The town elementary school teacher 6. A full time caregiver for their aged parent, grandparent or minor child (who is, rambunctious and adorable) If not "experienced," then our main protagonist should be: 6. Young, virginal, innocent, unspoiled although somewhat disillusioned. The OTHER protagonist, aka "the bad boy" "the rebel" or "badass" is involved in some manly pursuit, and is usually a: 7. Secret agent 8. Bodyguard 9. Cop/fireman/first responder. Protagonist #2 is always secretly pining for protagonist #1, with whom they had an almost serious, intensely emotionally involving relationship, years before, when they abruptly left town/this universe/this timestream. Add in the gay and muscle growth aspects, and this could get REEallly interesting! I can't wait to read it! I may even claim a co-authorship credit! kidding Mdlftr |

You have given me some great ideas. I was thinking about a small guy and a huge guy but add muscle growth could be interesting as well |
