Taco Bell Power Beach Commerical

Easily a ton of muscle but also one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

Who's in this commercial?

The guy being carried in from the surf at the end is Ronny Rockel

The guy in the red tank top with the sunglasses is Mike O'Hearn

Any ideas on who the other bodybuilders are?

As a side note: All of them have hair on their heads AND not a visible tattoo in the bunch! They are also dressed in conservative (for bodybuilders) beach wear - fitting tank tops and shorts. No skin tight clothes here!

~~ NOT that that MEANS anything of course! Say, that shaved heads and 'tats on large, muscular, loud men are off putting, or anything.....

The mainstream advertising market knows what the mainstream market wants and will buy. Who would YOU want to emulate? Big, muscular, guys with lots of friends out for a day on the beach, or solitary, tatted, shaved headed freaks wearing skin tight clothes and scowling at the camera? Hmmm...tough question!

This is a good example of how to make bodybuilding more mainstream and more acceptable to the general public. Just a bunch of regular, muscular guys out for a day at the beach!

...and their protein shakes!

"I'll have what he's having!"

Dan Decker and the "Absolutely not" guy are the two hottest ones for me... for some reason I think the "Absolutely not" guy topping Dan would be "Absolutely" hot!

So that's Ronnie Rockel being carried off?
So who's the guy carrying him?

And Kali is really making well for himself; that's about the 4th commercial I've seen him in. =$$$$

Are you missing the bit where they are all obsessive, narcissistic idiots and the "mainstream" guys want nothing to do with them?

It's just a commercial and it is funny but trying to use this as an example to show that non-tattooed bodybuilders are cool and tattooed bodybuilders are weird is an incredible stretch.

Humor often involves portraying someone as dumb.
And that holds true here. The protein shake guzzling bbers all come off as dim witted but it's a fun commercial; whoever is offended needs to chill.

PICK PICK PICK PICK.

The "mainstream" guys do want nothing to do with them, BUT, the bodybuilders compare favorably, in a physical way, as in "better than" the "mainstream" guys.

Watch it with the sound off and you'll see what I mean.

This commercial is for laughs and it has attractive looking people in it.

What's not to like?

I like it; I just don't think it is a value statement about tattoos.

Agreed, thinking Brad Rowe too. So many big names in one advert, love it!
