Shark Week part 1 No growth in this part, just setting the scene and introducing the characters! Stay tuned for the good stuff! “Well I don’t know, Sally. I think we’ve tried just about everything.” The busty beach blonde said to her brunette friend. They were looking up at the fit young man on the life guard seat. Dressed in the classic red trunks and white shirt of the profession, he was too busy scanning the beach to be bothered by the bikini clad babes trying to get his attention.* For the past half hour, they’ve been trying to chat him up, entice him with their bodies or downright propose to go out some time. It was refreshing to see girl’s acting more proactively in a relationship, but he wasn’t in the mood for the female genre tonight. No, he sought out someone with a Y chromosome. He had just made his way out from his home land, and was feeling a little mischievous. For a man like himself, mischievous spelt trouble for someone else. His name was Heillder, and he was a demon. Currently he looked like a fit young man who wouldn’t look out of place in a vogue photo shoot, but that wasn’t his true form. He continued to ignore the women, when something caught his eye. Someone was emerging from the waves; it looked to be a broad shouldered surfer. Heillder smiled and watched the man, as thunder rumbled in the distance.* The ladies never noticed he was gone. -- The waves were righteous today, but that’s what you got from an impending storm. He enjoyed the risk of surfing in bad weather, but he wasn’t stupid. The storm was getting big fast and the waves were getting way too choppy. It was time to head back home, order a pizza and then sleep. He had work tomorrow, much to his chagrin. Sage, the surfer, grumbled at the thought of plopping on the headset and telling people they weren’t allowed to have free things. Customer service for a takeout restaurant was the worst job he had ever had. Picking his board up, he made his way to the parking lot, and to his car. He noticed the lifeguard was gone, universal sign for “swim at your own peril”. He couldn’t blame the guy, between the two bimbos trying to hit him up and the storm, he’d have fled too. He whistled a song from some kids’ movie and loaded his board onto his car’s roof rack. He had splurged a little and gotten himself a midsized SUV, nothing soccer mom style, but enough to carry his board. He climbed into the driver seat, blissfully unaware of his passenger in the trunk. Heillder was losing his touch. Normally he’d just hitch a ride in this guy’s shadow, but he was still regaining his strength after the journey from hell. It wasn’t all the stories made it out to be. Hell’s administration actually forebodes travel to the mortal realm, as of two centuries ago. Now you had to sneak out, and it was not easy. As the car rumbled along, he wondered what he was going to do for fun with this guy. There were so many options. He knew it was going to be big, and drastic. And he was going to toy with the mortal, over and over. A wicked grin formed on the demon’s face as they entered an underground parking garage, and the engine shut off. He heard the surfer in the front, Sage if his powers were correct, get out of the car. Heillder slid out of the trunk, his shadow formed still worked flawlessly! Sage walked towards the elevator, his board in hand. He was happy that the building’s equipment was big enough for his board, a rarity in architecture. But he wondered if it was for another purpose. He had seen the size of some of the other people in his building, and inhuman failed to describe them. The non humans were kind of shocking in their size. He caught a glimpse of the horse that lives next door, a brown fellow. He put even Bruce Banner’s alter ego to shame. Sage locked the door behind him, unaware of the shadow that slide under the doorframe, and took residence under the table. Heillder looked around the man’s apartment, moving slowly so as not to attract attention. The surfer lived in a moderate place. The ceiling was tall and the doors were oversized. The demon grinned. He was inside an apartment build for larger than life people! He had seen some of these souls in hell; beautiful creatures, tall, broad and build by the angels. He had an idea. His attention was drawn by the TV, Sage had turned on a documentary. Seems it was Shark week on discovery again. Another coy idea toyed in the demons mind. He smiled wider and wider, his human fa?ade melting away as his physical body materialized from the shadows. He was a tall figure, dressed sharply in a tight suite that hugged his body tightly, but hid his perfectly sculpted muscles. He wasn’t massive; in fact he matched the average athlete in size. His face was feral, and crowned with a full mane of red and black hair, which matched his beard. No moustache would get in the way of his nose.* His grin continued past the point of no return as he moved silently into the man’s bedroom. The demon whipped his spade tipped tail around excitedly, his ash black skin blending him into the shadows. His eyes glowed in excitement as he hid in the man’s unused closet. As soon as the surfer went to bed, the demon would have his fun. __________________ "You gotta have muscles on your muscle!" ~Spongebob |

Hmm, a surfer, demon, oversized neighbors and architecture ... what fun __________________ "You could be big, too, but you gotta need it, like you need your next breath.? (from Jaypat's story "I Wanna Get Huge") |
