Nicely sore Hi all, So this time last year I was very out of shape. I've managed to loose 15Kg and 17cm around my waist. I'm really pleased, but I want to be a better shape rather than just fit. So I've started doing more weight machines at the gym instead of just cardio. Not good results until I saw one of the gyms personal trainers. In the last three weeks I've been using the free weights more and I can already see a result. For the first time ever I feel my chest sticks out. I can flare my lats! I wasn't even aware I had those! Despite my instructor telling me to to do arms solely yet, I can see them getting bigger because of the chest and back days also working tris and bis (I'll continue to listen to him). And despite not doing as much cardio I'm not gaining around the middle either. I'm feeling better about my body than ever before. And one of the things I love is the constant feel that some area of my body is sore. I'm not talking bad sore, but I can always feel those muscles rebuilding and getting bigger. I love it. Do you big guys still feel like this all the time? G |

It is one of the most fantastic things in the world to be able to tune out some nitwit that I have to deal with during the day by just tipping my head back a bit into my traps, because after a good deadlift session, they have that magical, perfect soreness. You have to keep changing things and challenging yourself to keep that feeling up. |
