take away protein shake Hey guys, I?m new here and I have a question. With the hectic life style I have is very hard to eat regularly. Therefore a protein shake is what I need. Question is if I make the protein shake (including some creatine) with milk in the morning ? let?s say 10 am ? and I put it in a bottle and take it with me, will it last unaltered till 5 or 6 pm? Will everything be preserved and fresh? Thanx in advance |

Leaving your shake for an hour unsealed even in the fridge will lead to a lot of oxidation of whatever fruits you put in there. I always put a banana in mine, and leaving it in the fridge makes it brown and slightly less appealing. If you want wonderful antioxidants, leaving your shake to sit for a while won't help. Don't Do NOT pre-mix your protein powder & Creatine with liquid! Keep the powders in your shaker cup and add your liquid of choice right before you consume. Creatine is broken down into Creanine (not sure of spelling) and becomes worthless. -BigLittleTim |
