To Creatine, or not to Creatine?

It would appear this is a question. I purchased a Creatine product last night (www.sixstarmuscle.com), but have yet to crack it open and try it. Does anyone have thoughts on adding this product? Experiences, good or bad?

I know that internet research can be helpful, but also anecdotal. That is why I am looking for help, opinions, etc...

Thanks.

Creatine is great if you are training hard to put on mass. If you are trying to get cut creatine can work against your goals because it can cause you to retain water.

Creatine is totally harmless. Your body produces it naturally, and suppliments are great if you're gaining.

Thanks for the thoughts. I am going to give it a try, as I can just put it away if it does something I don't like, right?

As long as you drink lots of water, the only side effect you'll have is more strength...

Creatine will help you train with more intensity in the gym and that in turn should help you lose fat while building muscle. You will get a bit of water weight gain, but that is easily lost when you cut up or do intense cardio.

We'll see how it works. I've been following the directions on the label for what is essentially a loading phase, and will see how I progress. On to BIGGER and better things!
